XPS 13 9310 - Fan noise

I read more people have issues with the fan noise, how can I solve this? Also, is it normal for your keyboard to get so hot that the keys get hot as well?

I sw the rubber on the back is not there anymore so I placed two coaster stickers below (leaving rooms for the hot air as output) so that my laptop is a bit higher from the table and avoid overheating. Nevertheless, its getting very hot, last time I even had a noise as if my fan got stuck.

Sounds like the fan assembly needs to be cleaned -- and if that doesn't solve the problem, it needs to be replaced.

If one fan is failing, the other likely won't be far behind, so replacing the entire assembly is a good idea.

@ejn63 thank you for your response! I guess that is the issue, sounds like it at least. Is it easy for a rookie like me to screw open the back and replace the fan? I can be handy.
