Touchpad and Keypad Failure
I’ve had my XPS15 9530 for about 2 years and all of a sudden my touchpad became intermittent and eventually non responsive. about a week later my keyboard stopped working as well. I reinstalled the driver by removing it in device manager and restarted my computer. I brought it into a PC repair shop and they can’t figure out what is going on with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did the shop check the condition of the battery?
It's not uncommon for touchpad issues to be the first sign of a swollen battery.

@ejn63 I opened the bake up and took the battery out. It looked normal to me.

That likely means the palmrest needs to be replaced. It's not an expensive part

However, carefully read the service manual -- the installation process requires an almost complete system tear down.
