Yes, you can upgrade to 2TB or 4TB.

Anything under 4T should work fine -- just note that if the system is running in IRST mode (RAID ON), some older systems like this one may have trouble with 4T boot drives. You can run in AHCI mode, no problem.

Probably, but the answer depends on knowing the system model - XPS 9550, 9360, etc.
