Splitter recommendations for use with the U4924DW monitiors
Hello,
I currently have 2 U4924DW monitors connected to my laptop. One screen has a display resolution of 5120x1440. The second one display is 3840x1080. I want both to be at 5120x1440. I think it is a limitation of my laptop but I need to make sure before I get the third one.
My question is... Is there a splitter that will give me the ability to display 5120x1440 on all three monitors or should I be content with the 2 I have now with one being less than optimal?
Laptop specs:
Asus Republic of Gamers
GL753VE
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics: Inter HD graphics 630

You'll need to check the notebook specs with ASUS, but driving three 5K monitors from one output is almost certainly a no-go.

@ejn63 Thank you. What options do I have? Should I just get a new laptop? This one works just fine.

If you want to drive three 5K monitors, this system isn't going to handle that -- you need a notebook with Thunderbolt 4 support.
