On battery or AC power?
Does the system recognize the AC adapter (F2 at powerup to check)?
What model system?

@ejn63 yes it those please, but the battery those not go above 81%. And my model is Dell XPS 13 9343

Next step would be a clean install of Windows. If that doesn't solve the problem, you'll need to evaluate whether you want to spend money to repair a system with a total value of $50-100 -- it is after all a 10-year old notebook.
