I have a 17" XPS (9730) running Windows 11 Home, and last week the internal speakers stopped working. I checked, and my wired earbuds don't work either, but my Bluetooth earbuds do work.
I double-checked to make sure that my Bluetooth was disconnected (no change), restarted the computer (no change), checked the volume level (70), verified the output device (speakers), and checked the driver (up to date). I did a full system scan (no issues) and restarted again (no change). Then I went the Windows route. I deleted all the sound drivers and restarted the computer (no change) and then did a system restore (no change). I used SupportAssist to run a hardware test and was told that my sound card may not be working.
Is there anything else I can do before I take it in for service?
