REPLACING BATTERY IN XPS 15 9500

Please excuse this duplicateb discussion as I am a newbie and my first discussion was full of errors.

Does the XPS 15 9500 come with the cable to connect the replacement to the motherboard?   Where/how can I order one.

Before replacing:

  1. Check your current battery's capacity via Windows battery report (design capacity vs. full charge capacity)

  3. Note: Replacement batteries typically don't include the connector cable—you'll need to transfer it from your old battery

You should be able to re-use the existing cable from the original battery.  If not, try parts-people.com or EBay.
