Random restart problem, can't boot up from usb for new Samsung 990 SSD setup
Dell G7 17 7700
Hello, could I please have some advice.
I still have my original components for my laptop however as it had reached the end of its service life I thought of replacing the parts.
It would randomly restart and couldn't retain charge so I thought it was best.
I have dead pixels in my screen too.
I replaced the battery with the same brand and make.
I replaced the ram cards to Kingston FURY Impact 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL20
I have added a samsung 2TB 990 pro in the second port for additional storage.
I have added a Samsung 4TB 990 pro for the main port to replace my original 1TB that came with the laptop.
I don't mind loosing all data on the laptop (all backed up) however I can't get it to set up the new 4TB SSD and even after changing the battery it still randomly restarts. I get stuck on the dell logo. I've gone into the bios to change the boot up order and priority and still nothing.
I have checked diagnostics, no problems, all components are fine when checked.
Switching back to my old 1TB SSD and checking the event log shows the error codes 6008 or 7034 respectively. Following the solutions I seem to have the same problems.
I can't find a article or video to help me with this.
I want to send the laptop to be repaired if they can find anything.
I really need this laptop to work.
Would dell repair it with these replaced components still in it?

That memory will never work with that system - it is aggressively timed gaming RAM designed for a system that has adjustable memory timing. Your system does not have the ability to adjust timing.
There may be other issues with the system, but start by installing the factory RAM and the upgrades one at a time.

@ejn63 I have checked the laptop limit for ram though. I am within the limit. I don't seem to have the reboot problem so far if the battery is unplugged though.
I'll keep trying
