Price of Laptops

I have been looking at Dell's new (rebranded) line of laptops; Dell, Dell Pro, Dell Premium.  It is pretty obvious that the whole rebranding is simply a reason to raise prices.  All of Dell's laptops now are eye poppingly overpriced.  When did owning a laptop become a luxury, that only the rich can afford.  This is ridiculous.  Honestly, I hope this exercise in highway robbery fails miserably on this company.
