Power Delivery

I recently got a new XPS 16 9640. I plugged it into my existing docking station through the USB-C connection. I get an error message that the computer is being weakly charged. The new XPS is rated at 130 watts. The existing docking station that I have is rated at 100 watts. The computer still charges, and everything connected through the docking station still works.

My question is if connecting my computer to this docking station will have any long-term adverse effects on my computer? Even though this seems to be working, will it create a problem later?

Thanks for the help!

Other than slower charging and that the system won't run at full speed, there should be no issues.
