Poor Dell Quality
I purchased a Dell XPS 15 May 2024 and after using it for a few months the trackpad started to have an issue where it would be very buggy and unresponsive randomly when I use 2 or more fingers on it. I talked to Dell support and the laptop was repaired 3 times before they finally caved and gave me a new system.
The system exchange process took another month to fully complete, and upon receiving the laptop, IT HAS THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. This is about to be a 4 month process going back and forth with the unresponsive Dell support members. One even got extremely annoyed and told me to go deal with it with Best Buy.
I paid a hefty amount of for this and would just like to have a working laptop. I don't want to keep having agents remote access it, I don't want to keep setting aside time for techs to just ruin my laptop even more.
Does anyone have any possible solutions?? I am running out of patience with this laptop and Dell in general.
UPDATE:
The situation was escalated to their L3 team if anyone knows that means for me and what I should do.

It's not the machine its a known issue with Windows
Reboot and see if that helps

@HedgeFundManager I did that. I rebooted, reinstalled windows as a whole, and made sure all updates were installed. Still the issue persists and it doesnt happen if I use an actual mouse.

I have both bluetooth and USB mice so I suggest a mouse as the trackpad issue may take some driver updates
