Pay for the overprced warranty and Support Assist stops working!

I rarely buy extended warranty's and when I do the Dell support assist stops working. I have tried everything they recommend and nothing has fixed it. It stopped right after I paid for the warranty and that was several months ago and it worked once and updated my bios, then it stopped working again. Should get something for the over priced warranty, but can't even get the support assist to work. Will never pay for another warranty ever again.
Guess it's not a rip off if something continues to work correctly. May get an HP next time.

Support Assist is available to everyone, not just for customers with warranty.  The advantage of warranty is your eligible repair expenses will be covered under warranty while no warranty customers have to pay out of pocket.

If Support Assist was the reason for you to extend your warranty, it was a wasteful decision.  Many users don't even want it due to its inconsistent functioning

Hmmm. After I yelled a little the Support Assist mysteriously started working.

Nope, it tried to prove me wrong after hearing that I said about inconsistent functioning!!!

Still glad that your issue is sorted.
