no audio input or output recognised after Clean install of Windows 11 Home on XPS13 9360

Sound output not recognised

Use Windows get help

No Output Devices detected – despite inbuilt system speakers and headphones plugged in at the audio jack

I am able to play audio through bluetooth headphones and bluetooth speakers.

No input devices detected despite an inbuilt microphone

Mic connected via USB is detected

drivers updated with support assist

Windows trouble shooting completed with Get Help

Any suggestions?

After you check for drivers and it still doesn't work, perhaps a snipping tool picture of your Windows System-Sound window will give us a clue.

Or, left click the speaker icon and on the left end, click on that to see what output devices may be available.
