New dock WD22TB4 fails to see USB drives, keyboard, mouse
When my last Dell dock fan died, my company gave me a new dock WD22TB4, which works fine with the company laptop.
But when I hook up my personal laptop XPS 13 (Win 10), the dock can't see the USB drives, keyboard, or mouse. Win 10 is up to date.
Any clues/insights into what is wrong? Used to work fine with the old dock (that died).

If your Dell WD22TB4 docking station isn't recognizing USB drives, keyboards, or mice, try power cycling the dock (disconnecting power and the USB-C cable, holding the power button for 30 seconds, then reconnecting power and the cable) and updating drivers, especially Thunderbolt, BIOS, and dock firmware.
Below is some troubleshooting information.
1. Power Cycling the Dock:
Disconnect everything:
Remove the USB-C cable from your laptop and the power adapter from the dock.
Hold the power button:
Press and hold the power button on the dock for 30 seconds to drain any remaining power.
Reconnect:
Plug the power adapter back into the dock, then connect the USB-C cable to your laptop.
Check for LED behavior:
The dock's power LED should blink three times, indicating it's powered on and working.
2. Driver Updates:
Update BIOS:
Ensure your laptop's BIOS is up to date.
Go to Dell's support website and enter your service tag to find the latest BIOS update.
Download and install the update.
Update Thunderbolt drivers:
Download and install the latest Intel Thunderbolt Controller Driver from Dell's support website.
Update Dock Firmware:
Download and install the latest Dell Dock Series Firmware Update Utility from Dell's support website.
