Monitor with USB-C that DOES have video, data and audio capability
Greetings,
I have a Mac Book Air and searching for a monitor that connects with USB-C. I was happy to find the P2725H however, after further research discovered a discussion which reported that it's not possible to use the monitor as an extended display without using another adapter.
Is there a Dell 27" monitor that does have USB-C that carries the data, video and audio? I would really like to limit the multiple connection cords.
Thanks!

The USB-C monitors -- particularly those for notebooks -- do exactly that at least with a Dell notebook. Whether they'll work with a Macbook is open to question. There's also the option of an Apple Cinema display, if the price doesn't remove that option.
I would imagine many monitors from others - LG, Samsung, etc. will also do the job.

thank you for your response. I would believe that someone from Dell would know which one would work with a mac book with the features I'm requesting. Is there another department I should consult?
thanks

Looks like most of the U-series USB-C monitors will do the job -- the one you asked about is a budget model, which may limit its feature set.
