LAN driver issue
We are using DELL XPS laptops in our environment. We have also rolled out the CIS Level 1 (L1) benchmarks for all endpoints.
The DELL XPS laptop does not have a dedicated LAN driver, so it fetches the LAN from the DELL WD19/WD15 model docking station. However, due to the CIS L1 policy (Prevent installation of devices that match any of these Device IDs: PCI\CC_0C0A), the LAN driver gets disabled.
This issue occurs only on the DELL XPS laptop, while other laptops are currently working fine.
Is there any solution to resolve this issue without removing the CIS policy? I cannot remove this policy from the GPO.

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.
