Intel Xe or Nvidia GPU for Laptop's Internal Display?
XPS 17 9720
I have a XPS 17 9720 with Nvidia 3050 GPU. But on Windows 11 Pro's Display setting, it shows that it has the Intel Xe adaptor for the display. Is this normal? I thought it should shows Nvidia GPU to power the internal display.

The 3050 GPU is a coprocessor -- the Intel GPU is permanently wired to the display panel. The nVidia GPU passes all data through the Intel GPU on its way to the display.
The systems with the RTX 3060 GPU have a hardware switchable true discrete setup -- the 3050 model does not.
