Icons / Symbols Appear as Squares on Google Maps with new XPS 9350 (in both Chrome and Edge browsers)

I recently purchased a brand new Dell XPS 13 9350 laptop. One odd bug \ is that no symbols, icons, etc. appear on Google Maps when going through a browser like normal. See screenshot below for reference.

Note that this occurs when using either Google Chrome of Edge browsers. It also does not matter whether I am signed into my Google account or not. 

Note that I have updated my BIOS and my computer has no pending updates. Can anyone assist?

Note my computer also has an issue where sites will not load if I "sort" them at all. For example, imagine looking through real estate listings and you cannot sort by "Price: low to high", etc. I do wonder if that is somehow related as well.
