I got my laptop stolen and they did nothing.

So I got my laptop stolen from me back in May/June 2021. I called technician support and they did nothing about it. I filled out a police report too and got nothing. The police were useless. I ended up finding the last location through the IP address and it’s in Canada right now. I can technically go there and get it but I would need the police report with me to show proof to the person that has it that it’s a stolen laptop from 3 years ago.
