Hardware differences for upcoming Ubuntu edition
Hey!
I'm looking at the Dell XPS (2026) laptop at the moment, and I want to know if there is going to be any hardware differences for the upcoming Ubuntu edition, or is the planned change only going to be the OS and the Copilot key as well as the Windows key?

No one will be able to answer until the system is released. Recent XPS models have been Windows-only so it may also be a matter of "if" than "when".

I'm only running it on Dell and Alienware desktops (haven't tried a laptop yet ... recently in this decade),
But AFAIK, Ubuntu-v25 runs on hardware designed for Windows. Like, what are you expecting?
Yeah, anyone with beta-test laptops are under NDA and we can't talk about them until Dell says-so.
