Dock or hub for XPS 13 9315 with a few peripherals
I have an XPS 13 9315 that I use for business editing. I've been using an Anker thunderbolt 777 hub but it's getting very wonky and the ports are not holding the various cords well. To sum up, I am looking to replace it and maybe not with anything so expensive and/or elaborate. I'm connecting one external monitor (HDMI to USB C although I could also do VGA), a wired USB A mouse, a wired USB A keyboard, and an external drive (also USB A) and of course I power the laptop through the docking station. Do I need a thunderbolt docking station? What does Dell have that would be compatible with my XPS 13 9315 and not too much and not too little? thanks.

One of the older Dell WD19T docks will do fine.

Thank you ejn63. I like that it's light, though anything would be lighter than the Anker 777 I now have. I'll check it.

@ejn63 May I bother you with two supplemental questions about this. First, I now have a (newly purchased) Dell Pro 22 Plus Monitor - P2225H. Will the WD 19T dock handle that? Second, I see some users like the WD 19S docks. Any thoughts? I assume the "T" ones are later models? Thanks again @ejn63

T means thunderbolt (without the T the dock is just USB-C, with much more limited bandwidth). Yes, the WD19T dock can easily handle a 22" 4K monitor.
