Dell XPS L421X laptop query regarding RAM limit for Intel Chipset HM77 ?

I cant seem to get a definitive answer on this as i researched the net

This laptop has 1 memory slot.It currently has an 8Gb DDR3 module in there.

I want to upgrade to 16Gb

Will the HM77 chipset support a single 16Gb module?

This RAM is extremely difficult to find only 1 or 2 suppliers on ebay...
