Dell XPS 9510 keeps freezing up and lagging

Today I had a zoom meeting and had to switch to another system because of the ridiculous lagging of my Dell 9510. It happens randomly no matter what I may be doing. To top t all off the camera quality has always been laughably bad, so awful that I'm embarrassed to use it during meetings. Of course now my warranty has expired it is lagging like crazy every day. Anyone having these issues and can give some advice?
