Dell XPS 9320 screen goes black when moved to a 90 degree angle a 45 degree angle
XPS 9320 - display goes black when screen is moved to 90 degree angle
I can view my desktop if my Dell XPS 13 Plus screen at a 45 degree angle. If I lift the screen past this angle the (with respect to the keyboard) the display goes black. In summary, if the screen is at 90 degrees the screen is black no matter what I do.
The laptop was sent in for repair and the diagnosis was that the screen is faulty. This is not true. The screen works fine when the laptop is not fully open.
The laptop is under 2 years old but out of warranty. Quite disgusted with the quality of this product as this appears to be a common fault on this machine.

Possibly the screen but it sounds far more likely the LCD cable needs replacing or is not fully connected to the MB. Try reconnecting the cable.
