Dell xps 9300 cannot power up
My xps 9300 laptop suddenly cannot power up. Noticed when I tried to charge, the light came up then disappear and seems not charging. I bought another charger and same issue. How to solve it and retrieve the data saved in the laptop?

You can try a reset first - unplug the system and remove the base cover. Disconnect the main battery from the mainboard for 30 sec. Then reassemble and see if it will power up.
If it won't, chances are your mainboard is bad -- but if this is a standard notebook (not a 2-in-1), the drive is a standard M.2 22xx NVMe. You can remove the drive from the system and mount it in a USB case. Attach it to a working system and you should be able to recover your data files.

Thanks for the suggestion. Attempt to unscrew the 8 screws but only managed to unscrew 7. Still working on the 8th screw. Seems to be stuck.
