Dell XPS 15 7590 Hinge Replacement

Hi all,

I have a dell xps 15 7590, I noticed the screen wobbly from the body, After opening the system, I noticed the aluminum piece that connects the body, screen hinge and power port is broken.

It is an easy fix but I cant seem to find a replacement part for it.
I found the palm rest which might have the part attached , but do I need to spend 150 euros for small part?

You do need to replace the palmrest assembly, but it should be nowhere near that expensive for the part - in the US, they run in the $50-60 range.

Look for another supplier (or try EBay).

I just noticed this small piece is actually part of the whole palm rest but broken off from multiple points.

It might be the hinge is quite hard and needs a replacement instead as well, can I find a hinge replacement?

The actual hinge mechanism is part of the display assembly, which will need to be replaced.

Unless the hinge is broken, if it's simply too tight, it can be loosened when you replace the broken palmrest.
