Dell XPS 13 is flashing caps lock light with 1 amber and 3 white
My Dell XPS 13 started flashing on the caps lock light with a 1 amber and 3 white code, but I can't find anywhere online what that might mean. The reference guide to diagnostic indicators doesn't have this code. The code persisted after a reboot. My latop is not connected to anything right now (no keyboards or monitors or charging cables).

It would help to have the exact model number --9343, 9350, 7390 etc. but if the specific model has a CMOS battery, it means the battery is weak or missing. For anything more detailed, post the full model number.

If you have the 2-in-1 model, it does appear to have a CMOS battery.

Replacing it is likely best left to a pro given that the disassembly process isn't going to be trivial.

@ejn63 thank you so much! I'll bring it into a shop and look into getting the CMOS battery replaced!
