Dell XPS 13 9350 camera stopped working
The camera is not recognized by all apps requiring a camera such as Teams, zoom, skype etc. The native windows 11 camera app gives an error message" we can't find your camera"-error code 0xA00F4244 No Cameras Are Attached.
I guess this is probably due to a software update. Looking forward to a solution for this. Thanks!

I have been in a chat most of the day yesterday with Dell Support. It has been fixed! TO me it seems they didn't really know what they were doing. That is: they did their very best and tried to help me but my impression was that it was not at all clear to them. The following two things did it:
Then reboot. For me this did the trick. I hop this helps,

Hi everyone,
Check BIOS Settings:
Install the Latest Drivers:
Driver Installation Notes:
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, the problem may be hardware-related. In some cases, users have reported that replacing the LCD assembly (which includes the integrated camera) resolved the issue. Contact Dell Support and mention the steps you've already taken and ask about potential hardware diagnostics or replacement.
If you need further assistance or have a different product, please contact support by clicking the Get Help Now button located at the bottom right corner of the page. The button is marked with a help icon for easy recognition, as shown in the picture below:

Yup, I have the same issue. Tried finding new driver, re-installing the device and I even re-installed Windows last night (quite new laptop), but same issue. I guess it's due to software update since I ran these after re-installing Windows and I still have the problem..

Same here. Camera is seen in Device Manager but windows does not detect it in any application nor in the Settings. Camera App says: 0x00F4244... Problem solver did not help. Also Dell hardware scan came up without issues.

Same. This is so annoying. I checked the BIOS, Privacy settings, reinstalled the drivers and the camera still doesn't work

Thank you for sharing all the details, the team is looking into this. In meantime, we had a few questions:
Does anyone recall/know which update caused the issue?
Has anyone tried installing the latest driver? For anyone who tried a reinstall of the OS and Driver did it happen to work for a bit and then mess up again (for example, after the latest update)?
Can you let us know which build of Windows the system is on? This can be done by typing winver in the search field located on the taskbar.
When you have a chance, please share any images/video of the error occurring in this thread.

@DELL-Brad L For me, seems to be associated with several Intel driver updates on 2/21. Installed the new camera driver from Dell. Showed up for about 10 seconds in Device manager then reverted to the previous driver. Have tried all solutions I've come across; nothing worked. On build 24H2.

@DELL-Brad L , the exact same situation here. There was a batch of 4 updates auto-installed over the weekend, no suggestions worked so far.

Also for me, Windows hello works via the camera. Turning the camera on and off in the BIOS has the expected effect on this. The camera shows up the device manager with no issues (Disabling/enabling it here does not help) but is "not seen" by any apps, including the Camera app which throws this error:

Thanks

I tried installing the driver <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> mentioned above now and my camera is now working again 👍

@E Moen Thanks for sharing this!
I was going to update the thread with the same information I received in an update from the team this morning. Glad to hear this worked!

@Stradale This solved my problem unlike every other methods. I uninstalled the camera and the driver from the device manager and downloaded the driver from the link. Thank you.
