Dell Trusted Device 6.4.3.0, A58 stuck on splash screen when run?

I have a Dell XPS 15 9570 - I had recently installed Dell Trusted Device 6.4.3.0, A58 using the file:
Dell-Trusted-Device_0FH2K_WIN_6.4.3.0_A58.EXE

However, it seems when I manually run Dell Trusted Device as a app, it is stuck on the splash screen as shown below even after a few hours and unlike other software, it does not disappear and then proceed to the actual software, is it supposed to be this way?

I have the same problem with the latitude 3450 as well, the A57 version displayed some error and asked to update Dell trusted device, after updating to A58, it only show a splash screen and nothing else.

How can we fix this?

I'm also having this problem on multiple Dell machines that I've upgraded to this version. Seems like in the latest release in July the client was updated to use .Net 6.x, these changes might have broken something. Otherwise DTD still works, the UI is just broken. It still scans and generates results I can see in the event viewer. Surprised that it is Nov and they still haven't noticed or fixed this yet.

I managed to get it working but it required this:
1) Uninstall Trusted Device 6.4.3.0 using the Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps

2) Use Revo Uninstaller to remove anything remaining with Trusted Device Agent 6.4.3.0

Install

3) Install Trusted Device Agent 6.3.6.0

4) Uninstall Trusted Device Agent 6.3.6.0

5) Use Revo Uninstaller to remove anything remaining with Trusted Device Agent 6.3.6.0

6) Install Trusted Device 6.4.3.0 and it works and loads correctly

The steps are needed to make sure everything is completely removed before installing the new version as the old one had a different app name as Trusted Device Agent while the new one is called Dell Trusted Device.

The only thing is while 6.4.3.0 works, it seems to not support the XPS 15 9570 for a lot of the functions which is covered in the Dell Trusted Device documentation for 6.4 here:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/trusted-device/docs

as mines looks like this:
So while it works, it seems like older platforms have most of the things unsupported and one may actually be better off just using 6.3.6.0 instead.

I was referring to the Installation and Administrator Guide v6.4 above which seems to not support my system for some functions.

@Almighty1

Good day to you,

I was getting the error with ME verification etc, just as shown in your screen shot, so the version 6.4 did not solve the error?

Did you manage to clear the error afterwards? or it is just due to incompatible model and can't actually be solved?

Thanks

@KLCHAI

Good day to you too.  I think 6.4 just doesn't support my model so I haven't found a way to clear the errors yet other than getting 6.4 to atleast work without being stuck at the splash screen.  Probably what @McChen said is correct about the version being buggy.
