Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TBS and Dell laptop XPS 13 Plus 9320
I have bought the Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TBS, so that I could work at home.
It looks like the docking station is always charging my laptop.
Is there any way to manually stop this docking station from charging my laptop when I don't want it to do so?

There are multiple Dell (and Windows) power settings that will allow you to adjust when, and how much, to charge your battery.
Here is a thread that discusses just that https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/inspiron/limit-battery-charge-to-80/647f9bf4f4ccf8a8deff617f?msockid=25148a02653662a71b149e5164af630e
Please let us know if thais addresses your question.

@ECharles First of all thank you for your answer.
I don't want to limit my battery charge to 80%. I want to manually stop this docking station from charging my laptop. I want to have all the functionality of the docking station, but not charging my Laptop.

@etopalis I'm not sure that is actually possible as it is a feature of docking stations.
What you could try is to use a smaller power supply that will supply enough power for the dock but not enough to charge the laptop.
I just tried powering my WD19TB with a 65w power supply from an old Dell laptop that still came with a barrel connector. My attached peripherals (Logi keyboard/mouse, Logi camera, Poly headset, Dell 23 inch monitor) work as intended, but my Precision 3490 throws all sorts of "attach correct power supply" messages (you can disable those in BIOS).
I have no clue how it would work with multiple monitors or other peripherals - or if it may cause any damage - but I can't see any way of actually disabling charging.
In short, I tricked the system by supplying just enough power to the dock, but not enough for the computer to charge

Download and install Dell Power Manager application. You can limit the max charging % as well as setting schedule what day and time your laptop should be charging, or on battery or AC only and not charging. I know this is not what you are looking for but it is as close as you can get, if you don’t want it to charge, just set it as AC only, then you will get power from the dock directly but not charging your battery and thus give less stress to the battery.
