Dell Studio 1555 I seen where someone was selling a i3 for this laptop is that true
on eBay some one is selling a i3 processor for a studio 1555 is it true I can put that onto a del studio 1555
I think it was a Intel Core i3-350M

Not the 1555 - -it takes Core 2 CPUs only.
There are two later models that were released in quick succession -- the 1557 and 1558 -- that will take first-gen Core i CPUs.

So the ad on eBay saying it will work in a Studio 1555 is incorrect
Boy glad i did not buy it

Given the age of the system, anything is possible including that someone over the last 15+ years swapped the system board.
