Crash and won’t restart
My laptop just went haywire. Black screen with a lot of white “static” now won’t restart

What model XPS (9550, 7590, etc.)?
Hold the power button until the system cuts off, remove the base cover and disconnect the battery from the mainboard. Hold the power button for 30 sec with AC and battery disconnected. Reassemble and try booting again.
