Can't turn on laptop with battery power
XPS 15 9500
Hi,
I owned XPS 15 9500. But recently encounter a weird behaviour where I'm not able to turn on my machine without plug-in to the charger, but after it turn on I can plug off the charger and the laptop can stay on until the battery died. But when I shut it down, it wont turn on unless I plug in the charger. Any idea wjhat should I do?

Run a battery report - open a command prompt with admin privilege and type
powercfg /batteryreport
What is the current charge capacity of the battery?

I'm having the same issue with my Dell Laptop. Even with a fully-charged battery, the laptop won't turn on unless it is plugged into the charger. After it turns on, I can unplug the charger and the laptop will work until the battery runs down.

Has anybody solved this problem yet? Why isn't somebody from Dell responding?
