Can’t boot, keyboard light turn on but shot down after 5 ish sec.
I have a XPS 13 Ubuntu edition but later I replaced the Ubuntu to Windows. Yesterday was rainy crazy and the laptop got a little bit wet but when I turn the lip open it was working fine. Then I started a windows update and it’s dead. So I’m not sure if it’s a software issue or hardware issue. I tried to reset the RTC, empty the battery, LCD test but none of them works.
let me know if anyone has some ideas

At minimum, open the system and check for moisture -- the damage may be done, but the system should be thoroughly cleaned and dried and the battery left disconnected until it is.
If you need a link to the service manual, post the system model number (XPS 9333, 9350, etc.).

@ejn63 hey ejn63, thank you for your reply. I did remove the battery and dry the laptop and I don’t see any mark on motherboard. The laptop is XPS 7390.

If the system still won't power up, there's little you can do but replace the mainboard -- just about everything inside that system is on the board, so other than the SSD (assuming it's not a 2-in-1), whatever was zapped means a replacement system board.
You're likely going to be faced with a $400+ bill just for a board -- plus labor if you don't replace it yourself, and given that the system is near or over 5 years old, a replacement system may make more sense.
