Can an XPS 13 P54G, with the 3 pin charge port, be charged through USB C?

My Mom's Dell XPS 13 has quit charging. The service tag says it is a P54G model, but when I look up the service tag ***private info removed*** , dell says it is a 9360. I would love to purchase a new 3 pin DC cord, or even the whole charger, but they don't seem to be available. As a last resort, can the computer be charged through the USB C port? She is getting the charger error message when she tries to charge it, and the charger doesn't actually seem to charge it anymore. Thanks in advance for any responses.

The USB-C port may accept charge.  But it will require a USB-C Dell charger for the system to recognize and allow charging.  Otherwise, you will continue to receive error when using incompatible charger.

This is the technical specifications for XPS 9360 power adapter  https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/xps-13-9360-laptop/xps-13-9360-setup_specifications/power-adapter?guid=guid-b87d0c1f-f9e8-40ae-934f-50a24ebc1e61&lang=en-us

An OEM genuine charger can be sourced from here  https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=20136
