Camera Not Working After Microsoft Updates

XPS 13 9315

XPS 13 9315

Camera on my Dell XPS 13 9315 not working after recent microsoft update that was downloaded end of November.  Have tried every suggested fix (security settings, reboots, uninstall / reinstall drivers) to no avail.  I have even done full factory reset and even when rolling back to Windows 11 23H2 it no longer works.  Error message is "0xA00F4244" NO Cameras attached.  Camera is showing up in device manage (shows as Intel(R) AVStream Camera). Two systems devices are showing exclamation mark next to them in Device manager though indicating error: (1) "Camera Sensor OV01a" and (2) Intel(R) Visual Sensing Controller Device. Note: there are two camera sensor drivers installed, the Camera Sensor OV01A1B also is in the list and shows working.  Screenshots of device manager below. I have spent hours on phone with Microsoft trying to fix as well to no avail and none of the dell updates have worked.  This seems to be impacting a large number of users on Dell devices.

I already tried both of those (see noted in my description) and neither support assist or driver updates have worked.

@DELL-Nat M any update on this issues? very very widespread camera issues that no updates have solved yet.

thanks - that did not work for.  I've updated all the drivers, as recently as today, and camera still does not work (show's no camera attached error message) and in device manager, the same two drivers have error signs next to them. @DELL-Nat M any update on a timing or new update release? thank you
