Built in Camera and Mic not detected on my xps 13 plus 9320

I have an issue with the built-in camera and mic not being detected. i tried everything. even Microsoft support did their best to try to solve it with no luck. I tried all troubleshoot and dell support assist which says everything is ok. as the camera does not work the face recognition does not work too. i came across an article that xps 9320 are experiencing this due to bad driver that cannot be replaced with an updated one. I see the cam in the device manager don't know if the issue is hardware or software related.
