BUG: XPS 15 9520 BIOS disallows use of 6 GHz Wi-Fi frequencies
I reported the bug to the Linux kernel, thinking it was Intel's wireless drivers that were the problem.
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=220571
It was determined that the actual cause was the BIOS restricting the use of 6 GHz Wi-Fi.
Please check the kernel bug report for all my relevant system information.
Please release a working BIOS version.

Do you happen to know what Wi-Fi card the system has and are you running Windows 11?
Earlier, there were some systems, which should have support Wi-Fi 6e, did not.

All relevant information should be in the link I posted, in the 3 attachments if not in the posts.
My Wi-Fi card is `Intel Corporation Alder Lake-P PCH CNVi WiFi (rev 01)`.
I am using NixOS, a type of Linux.
The main conclusion of the link I posted is:

The DSM function causing the situation is: DSM_FUNC_ENABLE_6E which DSM function 3.
They set bit 0, which means that they forbid usage of wifi-6e altogether.

I am not a Linux expert. I don't think your Dell System was sold with that OS.
I don't recognize the Wi-Fi card model since the Intel versions end with an AX designation. But Alder Lake is a processor designation.
You may need to go to an actual ASUS support site and not a normal user forum.
Sorry I can't help.

@Nazgand Sorry about the ASUS but I have no new Dell computers, so I am used to ASUS.
Before Windows 11 came out, Windows 10 could make use of Wi-Fi 6e, if you had an AX version of the Intel Wi-Fi adapter.
When Windows 11 came out, Windows 10 lost the ability unless you had a specific older Intel driver version. So, the ability to use the 6 GHz radio is tied to its driver.
Back then, I was watching this situation closely and for a while, I was still able to use 6e using that older driver in Windows 10. As soon as the driver was updated, 6e was no longer usable.
