BSOD - Dell 13 Plus 9320 - Dell Update - Intel Management Engine (July 2024)
BSOD - Kernel Security Check Failure & Thread Exception Not Handled

- 50+ % of the time Dell Support Assist application is flaky - it is just plain garbage
- Dell Support Assist application indicates the system needs to be updated with: Intel-Management-Engine-Components-Installer_WR6M5_WIN64_2413.5.68.0_A11_01.EXE
- Try to update via Dell Support Assist application - BSOD
- Manually download Intel-Management-Engine-Components-Installer_WR6M5_WIN64_2413.5.68.0_A11_01.EXE and attempt update - BSOD
- Bitlocker disabled (this issue has absolutely nothing to do with Bitlocker)
- Every aspect of the system is fully up-to-date
Not interested in responses from anyone other than Dell personnel - which probably will not happen. This is being reported so that others who experience the same problem know they are not alone. They are not the problem. Their system(s) are not the problem. Dell is the problem.
Dell Support is terrible.
Zero responses to repeated submissions regarding this BSOD from Dell Support.
Dell is not properly performing QA\QC.
Again, Dell Support Assist application is garbage; it is a never-ending source of problems and more than half the time non-functional. The worst. Over a decade of the absolute worst user experience out of Dell Support Assist application. The one Dell Update program that did work - Dell Update - Dell is no longer going to support. So userland is stuck with the Dell Support Assist garbage application.
