Automatic Firmware Update on my Dell XPS 9315 caused Power Rail Error
My Dell XPS ran a firmware update when I restarted it this morning and suddenly showed me an error screen. It was working just fine before the update.
I've been told it is a motherboard issue that would require replacing it completely.
The laptop is 2.5 yr old and OOW.
I've tried BIOS recovery steps but it does not work (screen shows the same error when started with BIOS mode)
What can I do about this? This issue happened due to a forceful firmware update!! Please guide!

Hi
Was that a bios recovery file that you applied?

@anne_droid Hi,
Thanks for this but I got the same error as in the screenshot when I initiated BIOS recovery with CTRL + ESC. I just got back the diagnosis from the repair center and the motherboard needs to be replaces. It costs $370 to replace it right now.
