9530 Touchpad Issues

I have been engaged with Dell support for almost a year, to fix erratic cursor movement when performing a two finger scroll. Continuous, light contact with two fingers triggers the erratic behavior. The OS has been reloaded (2X), numerous driver updates have been applied, dozens of settings have been changed, and Dell has replaced my touchpad (3X), the mother board, and the flex cable. In spite of these extensive updates and repairs, the behavior persists. With the last failed touchpad replacement, Dell abruptly closed my service request (without any notice or next course of action) and basically left me hanging.

Two questions for the community: 1) Have any of you experienced this type of touchpad behavior? 2) Do you have any recommendations on how to proceed with Dell? I will not start down the traditional technical support path again, and that seems to be the only way to re-engage.
