XPS T750r, can any ps2 keyboard work?

Question

the xps t750r,,,,,can any ps2 keyboard work with this computer..or is prone to like dells ps2 keyboards....i have a ps2 keyboard, microsoft...the lights are on the keyboard...but when i hit delete to go into bios..it does nothing....this is the first time i used this keyboard..or should i buy a dell keyboard on ebay from the era....i bought this off ebay, trying to restore it the best i can...so i can show folks my first computer..the case is still very nice on it

first thing is replace cmos battery with a new one and then look for a motherboard jumper to reset cmos settings

ok....the lights indicate memory problem..i go into bios, and the mouse jumps around..i cannot set the setting because of this..or it works improperly...i was going to update the bios...but i forgot how..and i cannot find out on support page for this computer.....will install cmos battery...mess with ram.... can anyone tell me how to update the bios in this computer...?'???????

ok..its booting into windows....seems to be mouse sensitive..i also jumped it a couple of times..no internet....probably driver issue

thks all...i got the keyboard and mouse working...i am able to boot into windows xp....i do have the dvd drive working, it was jumper setting....i am finally able to get on internet, modern browsers will not work , since sse2 instuction is required, apparantly the pent 3 does not support it..i found a non see2 browser, morzilla....i am going to install all the security software i can...i will not be doing any banking, anything of that sort on this computer....just web browsing...may convert it to a linux machine..i am so happy...this was the first computer i bought, exact everything.....in 1998....sort of a historical piece...when friends come over, i can show them my very first computer..

with this xp750r, trying to install linux from iso image on dvd disc...when i boot from the dvd drive, ,,it will not boot the disk , and goes into windows..the bios is set for dvd 1st boot device....the dvd drive will boot windows xp disc....i am sort of wondering what the issue is...any suggestions.....???? i have tryed 3 different linux iso,s...32 bit
