XPS Gen 4 tower, A B are orange and C D are green

I have a XPS Dimension XPS Gen 4 tower computer.  It hasn't been used in some years. When I turned it on. The problem is with the monitor. It indicates this message: "In Power Save Mode". Also there are 4 letters A B C D located in the rear of the computer.  The A B are orange and C D are green. What does the A B orange lights indicate? How do I get the monitor to work again?

Not knowing the exact model of your system but taking a guess at the general light configuration, the A B amber configuration may mean a memory problem. Try removing and reseating the RAM as sitting for some years may have caused the contacts to be corroded. The monitor does not necessarily have a problem. Power Save Mode simply means no video signal from the system to the monitor because of the A B problem.

Be sure to install a fresh CR2032 coin cell battery on motherboard after you re-seat the RAM modules.  It's probably dead in such an old PC.

The diagnostic codes are listed in Service Manual for Dimension XPS Gen 4 (linked above).  As @JOcean already said, O-O-G-G is a RAM issue, but that could be caused by a dead motherboard battery...

@JOcean

After removing and resetting the RAM. All 4 lights are green. Everything is working fine now. I thank you for your help in solving my problem.
