XPS 8960, installed Dell water cooler, additional software settings?
Hello Dell Community,
I recently upgraded the cooling system of my XPS 8960 from the stock air cooler to a Dell water cooler, which I found and purchased online. The installation process went smoothly, and I have connected the pump fan to the designated I/O port labeled "pump fan," following the instructions in the manual. However, I'm wondering if there are any additional steps I need to take on the software side.
Specifically, are there any adjustments needed in the BIOS or other settings to optimize the performance of this new water cooling system? I want to ensure that everything is set up correctly for optimal functioning. Any guidance or tips from those who have experience with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!

I recommend the MSI Afterburner program where you can set the fan speed.
