XPS 8950, PSU size based on configuration

I'm planning to buy one of the 2 following configurations but would like to know what PSU will be installed. In Canada there is no customer choice of PSU size. The Chassis Options all say "460W" and I'm thinking it should have a 750W PSU. Can someone shed some light on what Dell will build in for the PSU?

-  I9-12900 @ 2.40 GHz, 2TB NVMe, DVD and RTX 3070

Thanks!

I am seeing a choice for PSU wattage for 13th Gen processor . . . 12th gen looks like 460 watt only;;

What is the exact model number of the system in question?

@Troper NVIDIA specs say the Required System Power for the RTX 3060 Ti is 600 Watts and for the RTX 3070 is 650 Watts so Dell will probably build in at least a 750 Watt PSU.

Thanks for confirming about the meaning of the XPS 8950 "Chassis Options"... it's unfortunate that 460W is the only option to 12th gen Intel systems. It's going to be a pass for me because 460W it too limited for what you pay.

Those are not XPS 8950.  They are XPS 8960.

Thanks for clarifying on the 13th gen model number being different, BUT the fact remains that you only get a 460W PSU with regard to my original question.

It's clear to me now after seeing that Dell gives you the option listed under "Chassis Options" to upsize the PSU on 13th gen processors. Sad to see them selling this configuration to unsuspecting customers thinking that they're getting a gaming computer and will later discover that they have to hunt down a larger proprietary PSU if they ever want to upgrade the graphics card.

I thought this was funny... when you choose an RTX 3080 card you get a PSU limitation warning with no option to select a larger PSU.

Dell online customer new pc config option is programmed by AI which is supposed to think for you, and as a result does not get it right.  go for the biggest psu you can afford (1000w or 750w) because chances are you may need it later on if you ever upgrade to faster gpu.  If the option does not allow you, speak to a real sales person to get around the restriction.
