XPS 8950 and Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

I have an XPS 8950 with Intel i5-12400, 32GB DDR5 and 1TB Samsung 980 Pro NVME. I have 460 W Power Supply. I have Nvidia 1650 Super and i will like to upgrade to Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming V2 Overclocked Dual Fan 8GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card.

Will that RTX 3060 work with my 460W power supply?

Thanks

Yes, the 460w can support up to 180w graphics card.  The RTX 3060 requires 170w of power and using x1 8-pin connector.  That should work.

Thank you very much. Do you know if this will work as well.

Yes, the RTX 4060 VENTUS power consumption is 115w, using 8-pin connector.  That will also work.

You would need to upgrade the PSU only if the graphics card power requirement is exceeding 180w.  The two cards you have selected so far are within power requirements which the Dell 460w can handle.
