XPS 8940, how to boot from CD?

I went into the bios to enable boot from cd but it's no where to be found? The boot from usb is there so what gives?

You don't need to modify the boot list. Simply press F12 at powerup with a UEFI-bootable disc in the drive and select that from the boot menu.

What's on the CD?  And is it UEFI-compliant?
