XPS 8940, Diagnostics Bios 2.15.1

I use my XPS 8940 Bios 215.1 as my DAW in my recording studio.  I checked the Bios Diagnostics and it came up with a Critical error HD 10 - I reran the Diagnostics a few times and it never showed again.  This week I am replacing the

D: Drive with a WD Gold Internal 14TB drive.  I am pretty sure my XPS 8940 is running just fine.  I have a gut feeling that my 2 external WD passport drives could have caused this problem and that is why they are being replaced  There was no dust in the case.     I welcome your comments.
