XPS 8940, anyway to prevent auto reboot?
Hi, I am running a virtual workstation on a Dell XPS 8940. Once or twice a week, the computer reboots and interrupts processes running on the virtual workstation. Is there any way to prevent an automatic reboot. I would still reboot a few times a week for updates, but I just hate not knowing when its going to reboot. Thanks for in advance for any help.

It depends on WHY it is rebooting?
Depending on BIOS setting, a POWER LOSS would look like that? Power drops, PC shuts off, and when Power comes back, it reboots.
Getting a UPS would help alleviate that,
Since it is so often, I doubt it was Windows Update doing that, but you can set that to only Reboot after 'working' hours.
I tend to think this is a A/C power issue, but I could be other failing components, like the PSU that is the culprit, but I don't think that would cause the PC to power back up?
Does this happen when not using the VM?
