XPS 8930 with new Hard Drive but error code: 2000-0723, Validation 103029

The computer is out of warranty but worked well. Last week faltered and got an error code indication hard drive(data) needed replacing. Through Dell, replaced hard drive.  Now with different error code. every time I reboot. Computer has minor glyches but works 95 percent.  Dell wants me to ship CPU to Texas but a bit reluctant given sensitive information on computer.  What about just replacing hard drive?  Jeff
